Bayboro Development Center’s mission is to assist and improve the quality of life for individuals who have been incarcerated and are returning to our community. Once an individual reenters society, their likelihood of becoming a contributing member to the community is dependent on whether they can secure meaningful employment, find a place to live, and have the education and skills necessary to advance in life. The BDC reentry program involves a comprehensive case management approach, and it is intended to assist these individuals in acquiring the life skills needed to become a contributing member of the community. In addition to the case management, BDC offers an array of programs and services geared to the success of each individual. Ø Second chance opportunities Ø Expungement assistance Ø Screening & assessments Ø Specialized programs Ø Behavioral & mental health services Ø Community outreach programs Ø Family focused treatment Ø Educational services Ø Employment services The services and support provided by BDC and the community will inspire transitioning individuals to sustain a positive lifestyle of success, joy and serenity; therefore, benefitting the ex-offender and the community.
