Tru-Co General Contractor, Inc. is a fully insured, family-owned and operated commercial Licensed General Contractor located in New Bern and servicing all of Eastern North Carolina. Gary Thomas, Sr. founded Tru-Co General Contractor, Inc. in 1990. Gary built the company off the 35 years of experience he had learned in the steel building industry. He saw the need for roof coating and building maintenance of existing steel buildings. Since then, we have transitioned into a full service building contractor: new construction, remodels, repairs, and service.
