July 4-6 - 28th Annual Croaker Festival, Oriental
Join us for the annual Pamlico County Croaker Festival an All-American Family Festival -- parade, children's park, live music, great food, and fireworks.

Winter 2008-2009
December 8 - Oriental's Spirit of Christmas Celebration
Every year on the second Saturday of December Oriental's shopkeepers, organizations, and residents open their doors and hearts to visitors. This annual "Thank You" features a Christmas Parade and beautiful displays throughout the village.
December 15 - Christmas Parade, Bayboro
December 31 - Running of the Dragon, Oriental
Twice on New Years Eve, the magical Oriental Dragon winds it's way down Hodges Street near Oriental's Town Dock. Bring your noisemakers, and bring yourself good luck by touching the Dragon's nose.
